RICS now offering free CPD resources to candidates and professionals

RICS, the global professional body for high standards in the land, real estate, construction, infrastructure, and valuation sectors, is making a vast range of commercial digital resources and services available without charge for RICS-qualified professionals and candidates. The move is part of the organization’s efforts to provide additional support for professionals working in construction and infrastructure, real estate and valuation during the COVID-19 pandemic.

RICS researches, designs and delivers lifelong learning and development to advance innovations in the built and natural environment. Through development and enforcement of leading international standards, RICS protects consumers and businesses by ensuring the utmost level of professionalism is employed across the built and natural environment.

Digital resources and solutions made available free of charge include online courses to promote continuing professional development, an online knowledge hub (isurv), free webinars and digital conferences through the World Built Environment Forum, RICS Insight Series and digital magazines.

“During this global pandemic, professionals are navigating a lot of uncertainties,” said Neil Shah, Managing Director for RICS in the Americas. “We’re bringing together the leading thinkers across the built and natural environment sectors to share their current thinking. Our aim is to provide consistent and comparable information on which to base decision-making even now. We’re creating transparency and confidence in the work of RICS-qualified professionals.”
