Join our Yorkshire & Humber Regional Board

We are currently inviting applications from individuals who can contribute to our journey by performing a key role on our Yorkshire & Humber Regional Board.

Operating out of over 30 offices around the world, we're the leading professional body for setting standards in land, property and construction.

We help develop professionals from Shanghai to London, and from Sydney to New Delhi, who are literally shaping the world around us and the business environment within which we operate.

The role

The role of the Yorkshire & Humber regional Board is to assist in the implementation of a local activity plan which forms part of the RICS UK & Ireland World Regional Business Plan. The Board will contribute to the promotion of growth in market recognition of RICS standards, provide market insight and intelligence to inform overall strategy, enhance the recognition and profile of RICS throughout Yorkshire & Humber region as well as promote local member engagement within the region.

We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you work in the public sector (e.g. NHS), rural, environmental, facilities management, residential or commercial.  We would also like to encourage members from across all areas of the region and we are very keen to ensure we represent both SMEs and corporate firms.

We are looking to fill multiple roles on the board.

Time commitment

The Yorkshire & Humber Regional Board reports to the UK and Ireland World Regional Board.
Physical meetings are usually held in our offices in Leeds, and the maximum number of days’ time commitment expected of board members is six per year.
